A lovely hostel with very helpful and friendly owners/staff! I felt very welcome and they helped me with all my questions... the room was nice and spacious, a kitchen with everything you need is available. Barrio Escalante is a super nice neighborhood with lots of super tasty restaurants!

I highly recommend staying at Chillout hostel Escalante! The owners are amazing. They give a lot of recommendations were to go in the city, are very caring and happy to help providing any information needed. Also, this is the most clean hostel I have ever been too. There are enough hot showers and toilets and a cozy equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. The dorm beds have a bedlight and curtains at all sides. I really felt like home in this place and I would definitely go back!

I stayed for one night and had a great time. Everything was clean and the common area was nice. Furthermore, beds in the dorm had curtains what I enjoyed because it gives you a little bit of privacy. The owner gave me some good recommondations for food and about what do to in the area and he answered quickly to all my questions before arrival.

Great place with even greater staff/hosts! Loved barrio Escalante and how close it was to: All the food areas on Calle 33, barrio La California, and the San Pedro Mall! Even El Mercado Central was also walkable from here. Would definitely come back! Gracias 🙂

This is a great location in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of food options just a few blocks away. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We loved the vibe of the place.

I came to Chill Out Hostel with quite a lot of expectations and its safe to say that they were well met. Good location, clean and probably the truest "international" hostel feel I had in my trip through Central America. I am very happy with my stay here.

Really nice location, the staff is putting a lot of effort into this new hostel. I really liked to have curtains at the bed. The door of the dorm was a little hard to close I'm sure it can be fixed easily. Would come back here 🙂
